The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office, along with the Office on Aging have a Cell Phones For Seniors Program that provides seniors with a cell phone that can be used to call 9-1-1 in case of an emergency, but will not be able to make standard person to person calls.
Cell phones that are no longer in use can be donated to the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office or the Office on Aging. Every cell phone that can be recharged can be a life saver for our seniors.
If you are interested in donating any unused cell phones for the sake of our program, please contact Officer Ryan Riley at the Sheriff's Office at (856) 451-4449 ext 25138. Cell phones can be dropped off at the Office on Aging nearest you or at the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office.
The donated cell phones are available to seniors through the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office or Office on Aging. For more information about how to donate or receive a cell phone, please contact Officer Ryan Riley at (856) 451-4449 ext 25138.
